Original NFB caption reads: "From the plains of Alberta, thousands of wild horses are shipped to Europe.
Cowboys and Indians round them up, herd them into corrals for sorting. Some go overseas alive to work in the fields, others go as horsemeat, pickled and canned.
All go for the relief of starving Europeans."
